1 May 2008

Kenmore has today announced the opening of a new office in Helsinki, Finland, which will be headed up by Hannu Manninen.

This latest office opening continues the Group’s focus on driving acquisitions across Europe and follows on from recent office openings in Stockholm, Berlin and Antwerp.  Kenmore has already invested over £200 million (€250 million) in a portfolio of investments and developments in Finland.  These include the development of an existing 138,155 sq ft (12,835 sq m) retail scheme in Helsinki and 497,071 sq ft (46,180 sq m) of warehouse and office accommodation in Vantaa.

Hannu joins Kenmore with over 16 years of property experience.  In addition to heading up the Helsinki office he has the role of Director of Asset Management for Finland.  He moves from the Schaumann Group, which he joined in 2006, and previously worked for Newsec.

Kenmore’s new office in Helsinki is located at Mannerheimintie 12 B.

Rob Brook, Managing Director of Kenmore, commented:

“This latest office opening will strengthen and consolidate our growing prominence in Scandinavia and Europe as a whole. Kenmore has a long history of investing in the Scandinavian markets and the opening of this new office will both enhance the company’s visibility and help accelerate our growth in the region through increased operational capability.”
