Kenmore lets 18,500 sq ft to IBM
Kenmore secures another tenant for Jackson House, Manchester
25 April 2008
Kenmore has secured another new tenant for Jackson House in Manchester. IBM UK Limited has agreed a 10 year lease at £16.50 per sq ft and is set to occupy 18,500 sq ft over the ground and first floor.
Kenmore Capital Portfolio Limited, a joint venture between Kenmore Property Group and Bank of Scotland Corporate, acquired Jackson House in Sale, Cheshire in 2006. The building has undergone a substantial refurbishment and is home to occupiers including Chep UK and One Advice. This deal comes off the back of the recent letting of 6,512 sq ft on the 4th Floor to AA Projects Limited.
Ben Roberts, head of Kenmore’s Manchester Office, comments: “We are delighted to welcome IBM to Jackson House. Since acquiring the building we have spent considerable time and resource in refurbishing it. The building now offers high quality facilities and performance which compares with any Grade A space in South Manchester.”
“Jackson House has one of the largest floorplates in the South Manchester office market and there is currently a strong level of interest in the remaining space. We are confident that we will be in a position to announce further good news on the letting front in the near future.”
Savills and Canning O’Neill are the joint letting agents. Atis Real acted for IBM.
